Royal Life Centers knows the importance of staying connected after completing treatment. We make sure guests who have completed our programs remain supported and connected for a lifetime. Sobriety is an ongoing journey that requires a connection with like-minded individuals. When guests complete treatment and settle into their new way of life, being around peers who are on the same path is inspiring and uplifting.
Lifelong relationships are often created during substance use disorder treatment, and uniting with peers and mentors is one of the main objectives of the Royal Life Centers alumni program. Our alumni connection team is devoted to helping guests remain connected with us and each other, including the greater local recovery community. Staying connected with others who are also motivated significantly decreases the likelihood of relapse, especially during early recovery. We want our guests to find success in sobriety, so we’re here to provide support for every step of the recovery journey.
Our alumni services specialists are passionate individuals, many of whom are in recovery themselves. Staying sober after treatment and reentering daily life while meeting obligations and responsibilities can be challenging. When times get tough, it’s incredibly important to have a strong support system to help fight temptations and stay on the right path. We take this initiative into our own hands by making monthly follow-up calls to every one of our graduates, offering assistance and guidance when needed.
Our alumni coordinators also act as liaisons for anything a graduate may need including but not limited to:
We host a monthly speaker meeting for our current guests, featuring one of our alumni sharing their experience, strength, and hope. Based on guest feedback, hearing the success story of a former guest is a tremendous motivator and source of inspiration. Additionally, free pizza is provided at each monthly alumni speaker event.
Royal Life Centers believes in having fun in sobriety, so we host monthly alumni events for program graduates. Each event is a fun-filled way to connect with peers, make new friends, and socialize in a sober environment. These events are free for any alumni of any of our programs.
